Aaaa, that's why I smelt oil in the passenger cabin. Yesterday mechanic said I have a small leakage there and sensor needs to be replaces.

My water pump broke and I had it replaced along with timing belt,fan clutch, thermostat, radiator, distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and replaced battery. At first car started and there was water in the oil, so the mechanic working on my car put blue devil to fix temporarily and changed the oil, next morning car won't start. Mechanic thinks it might be the anti-theft system was triggered when battery died and I entered the car from passenger side and leaned over to attemp a battery jump. No codes show, I'm stumped.any suggestions

Is the hole in the clutch fork rubber boot (like the one shown in this video) intended for lubrication purposes? I am working on a 2006 Avensis with a similar boot and want to spray white lithium grease on the pivot to stop creaking noises. Is it safe to do that through this hole or is it necessary to remove the rubber boot to be more precise? I’ve heard it can be very difficult to replace the rubber boot after removal. I also don’t want to risk contaminating the clutch disc linings with grease, so I’m looking for expert advice on this before doing anything.

Do NOT use any lube on sparkplugs. NGK says not to do it. With millions of plugs produced, tested, and re-tested they know a thing or two.

Very nice presentation, my Toyota D4D 2001 (old avensis) will not accelerate more than 2500-3000rpm engine light on, mechanic tells me is fuel pump injection broken what it comes on the diagnosis, never had a the SCV valves cleaned before, are these pumps easy to brake before the scv valves?

Does that mean the only way to change oil pump out is to take of valve cover, timing cover and oil sump? It looks like the pickup tube stops you from pulling it out with just the valve and timing cover removed - is this correct?

Idk why i just couldnt understand what i was seeing! Until i realized the entire dash was out! Lol! All the other videos i watched that electrical part was facing the opposite direction. This video is for my make/model & certainly put everything into perspective! What a view! 😅 Thanks!

I've a 1997 Corolla DX I changed the belt, and 2 wires broke, I butt connected the oil pressure sensor wire, although I don't know what the other wire is, it just pulled out of its connector, I pushed it back in. But I still can't figure out what the wires function is, would you happen to know? I can send a pic to you.

Hi Peter, do you need to take that front panel and the wheel off or can it be done otherwise? If you have to is it simple to take the front panel on and put it back onn?

Never apply any oil near the MAF sensor. Very Bad idea.. Don't do it please. Oil will attract dust and soon sensor will not work properly.

Excellent and very accurate job Peter! It needs a lot of attention so we don't get electrocuted! Great measurements with your meter to check for the presence of electricity! Very good idea to open the big stuck cable from the electrical box side! The best part was when you managed to lift the converter with your hands! It is a lot of weight, so you are not so weak man as you said. Of course, young Arnold Schwarzenegger would lift that with ease!

So you can do this with the door closed because my door is stuck closed cannot open ?
